I am a lil too confused I guess Correct the paths and retry. I mean after creating new project and creating new layout file how do i add various elements and properties and different kind of windows to it.
See this page for some examples of the parameters ceed-migrate takes: To edit it, you can either do it visually, or switch to "Code" tab seen below, and edit it manually. It allows you to assign shortcuts to zoom, image creation, opening a project, and so on.

Created new layout file. Myself i've the same problem. I went through those to get started.
Facing problems understanding how to work with CEED i was forced to move on to another system. How do i create entirely new layouts using the editor? And regarding the manual PySide will bring in several other packages and will probably take a few hours to compile.
Be sure to get the version which matches the version of msvc you intend to build with. You can also use the ceed-migrate tool for convert your old cegui-datafiles to the newer formats.
